Jackson's widow, Flora's obit has, "...she was married to Dr. J. K. Pinnix at the age of 18. And to them was born one child, Chas. Pennix, who died some twenty years ago." Also, "Her husband was the brother of the late M. H. Pinnix." (Jackson was the brother of Marshall Henry Pinnix.) And, "After the death of her husband in Lexington some twenty years ago . . ."
Jackson's exact death date is not known to me. His will was probated 26 Oct 1875 in Davidson Co., NC.
