In Loving Memory of Jidge Arbogust:

Mrs. Virginia "Jidge" M. Arbogust passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24th, 2023 at the age of 99, just 31 days before her 100th birthday. She was born December 25th, 1923, to Aledore & Ruth Vermeulen in Moline, Illinois. Jidge married her high school sweetheart, Robert "Bob" Arbogust, in May of 1944. They had two children, Jann Kline and Jeffrey Arbogust. Bob and Jidge moved to Texas in 1948 where they built a beautiful and full life together.

Jidge was an active member of the Great Hills Country Club where she and Bob were avid golfers. Jidge spent countless hours on the golf course planning events and tournaments of which she often took top place. She was a resident of the Forest Mesa Drive community where she and Bob always had a friendly wave from their garage to the friends and passersby on the street. Anyone that knew Jidge knew her spirited personality and her love of sports, especially her favorite: the University of Texas Longhorns. Jidge would often be found with a basket filled with goodies for every occasion. Her generous spirit caused her to be loved by many. She was dedicated to her family and friends and will forever be missed.

Jidge was the beloved wife of the late Robert R. Arbogust,
loving mother of the late Jann Kline and surviving son Jeffrey Arbogust.
She was a cherished Grandmother to Jarrett Sasser, Mitchel (wife Tatianna) Sasser, Tara (husband Matt) Kitzmiller, Jordan (husband Nathan) Rudolph, Justin Arbogust, Audrin (husband David) Gibler & Aaron (wife Emily) Arbogust and
Great Grandmother to Teo, Jaiden & Rex Sasser, Pia, Sol, Vianne & Benjamin Sasser, Ethan Kitzmiller, Kaleb & Mariah Rudolph, Ole, Milo & Saige Gibler and Ashlyn, Jake, & Olivia Arbogust.

Her life will forever be treasured by the family she's left behind.
