Marjorie was born on December 21, 1937 in Leflore, Oklahoma to Nellie Lorene (Kitchens) Powers and Buford A. Powers and passed away on December 7, 2023 in Cameron, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by parents, Buford and Nellie; grandson, Britton Powers Long; brother, Bill Powers; and brothers-in-law, Eldred Chronister and Harold Roden
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Shoup; daughters, Julie (Wood) Salgado and husband Mike; son, Phillip Wood; grandaughter, Erin Elizabeth Long; great grand daugher, Londyn Jayde Long sisters, Mary Chronister and Wanda Roden; brother, Joe Powers; sister-in-law, Pam Powers; niece, Sharon (Shoup) Wright and husband Jeff; and numerous other family members, friends, and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Shriners Children's Hospital. A special thanks to Sans Bois Hospice, Martha, Daisy, Tammy, Bonnie, Dina, and Chelcee.
