Linda Robin, the daughter of Margery Lee (Kirkbride) and Dr. Lowell Newton Clyne, was born on January 9, 1940 in McLeansboro, Illinois. She died on December 1, 2023 at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 22 days.
She was a graduate of the Alva high school and Northwestern University she was an educator earning a Masters in science while living and teaching in Texas.
Linda was preceded in death by her father in 1943, a daughter, Bridget Hoskins in 2004 and her mother in 2009.
Robin is survived by Roger Bell of Alvin,TX and granddaughter Chez Howard of Leavenworth, KS; two great-grandchildren Bridget and Brayden Howard of Leavenworth, KS; a sister Marilyn Clyne of Alva, OK; aunt Marydoris Powers of Oklahoma City,OK. Two cousins: Romily Estell of Oklahoma City,OK and Erin McDonald of Houston,TX. Two nieces, Kristin Duvall of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Tara Fox of Atlanta,GA She was a lifelong learner.
