William H. Drake

William H. Drake, 67, Yankee Run Road, Brookfield, died suddenly at his home early Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1951.

A retired farmer, he was born May 5, 1884, in Brookkfield (sic) Township, a son of Jasper and Emma Lunn Drake.

Mr. Drake was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sharon.

Surviving are three daughters* (sic), Mrs. Mabel Hassel, Sharon; Mrs. Archlie (sic) Reed, Lansing, Mich.; Mrs. Robert Cairey, Detroit, Mich.; and several nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Galloway funeral home, Hartford, by Rev. Leroy Halbert. Burial will be in Oak Wood (sic) Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m. today.

*He never married; the word should be "sisters" instead of "daughters"
