Patricia Elaine Nash, 86, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away December 4, 2023, at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital.
Patricia was born in Covington, Indiana, on December 1, l937, the daughter of Merle and Arlina (Dobbins) Huffman. She married William Raymond Nash on July 3, 1972, in Danville, Illinois. Patricia worked in retail sales. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ and would talk about Him to everyone. She loved to make people laugh, saying, "I don't care if you are laughing with me or at me as long as you are laughing." She was a very generous person to those in need, often giving beyond her means because, as she would say, "I've been there before." She enjoyed caring for her animals through the years, currently her dog GeeGee and her cat Babe.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Karen Wray. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, her parents, seven brothers, and four sisters.
Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home and Cremation Services will provide cremation services for Patricia. Burial in Graceland Cemetery will take place at a later date.
