Kenneth D. Adams of Lakewood, a director of safety, died Thursday. He was 93.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 W. 29th Ave. There will be cremation.
He was born Aug. 10, 1906, in Rathdrum, Idaho. He graduated from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va. He was the director of safety for the state of Colorado. In 1945 he was a founding member of the Colorado State Patrol, serving as deputy chief.
He is survived by his wife, Ann M., Lakewood; two sons, Kenneth L., Westminster, and Clark A., Port Orange, Fla.; two sisters, Eleanor Howard and Barbara Terry, both of Lakewood; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
