Donald E. Coggburn
     Donald E. Coggburn, 75 of Nampa passed away Sunday Oct. 19, 2003 in Nampa at Mercy Medical.
     Born Aug. 19, 1928 in Boise, Idaho to Earl L. & Isabelle M. (Howard) Coggburn, living in Boise his first few years, later moving to Star where he attended school and worked the family farm until joining the Army in 1948. Don served in the Korean Campaign where he was awarded the Korean Campaign ribbon with Bronze Star, U.N. Service medal and the Purple Heart before being honorably discharged in June 1952.
     Don married Violet L. Hochhalter on Feb. 7, 1952 and then made their home in Nampa. He was an auto mechanic all of his adult life working for Roberts Auto/motor home and Dan Wiebold Ford until retiring in 1997. Don loved to fish and camp, never passing up the opportunity to drown a worm.
     Don is survived by his wife Violet, children Michael Connie), Tim (Amy), and Teresa (Richard) Sutton all of Nampa, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack, sister Grace Macy, and Grandson Kenny. At Dons request, services will be a private family gathering. Arrangements are under the direction of Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Gone Fishing.
