Daughter of the late Helen and Theodore Frostman, Colleen attended Kohler Elementary School and later attended Riverdale High School in Muscoda, WI where she graduated. She also attended Lake Shore Technical College where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Industrial Marketing.
She and her husband Brian owned and operated Idle Wild Resort in Land O'Lakes, WI until Brian's death in 2013. She served on the Phelps School Board from 2014-2023.
Colleen was preceded in death by her husband: Brian Pietenpol; brother: Brian Frostman; and parents.
