Caroline Louise Egley Whitlinger, 65, of Sigel, Pa. passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Monday, March 3, 1958, in Apollo, (Kiski Twp.) the daughter of the late Robert K. and Helen V. Skrot Egley Kvartek.

Before her retirement, she worked for Helds Shop n Save in Apollo for 20 years in the deli department then finished her career at Giant Eagle, working there for over 18 years. Caroline graduated from Apollo Ridge High School. She loved to travel to Alaska with her husband and her passion was fundraising for "Angels in Motion" in that great state. Caroline enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking, cooking, and making fudge. She will always be remembered as a kind, caring individual who always took care of others.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas Lynn Whitlinger, her sister, Lisa Lorraine Egley-Walker, her nieces, Corinda Ann Egley and Jamie Femc-Messina and her nephews, Brian J. Shellhammer and his wife, Brandi and Jason Femc.

Interment will be held in Riverview Cemetery in Apollo, Pa.
