Elaine was a graduate of Green Bay East High School where she met her future husband, Roger C. Wauters, Sr. On September 2, 1950, the couple married at St. Willebrord Catholic Church and celebrated over 70 years of marriage. Elaine worked as a telephone operator before raising her family of seven children. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who took great pride in her loved ones and her home.
Survivors include her children, Roger (LeeAnn) Wauters, Jr., Paul (Laural) Wauters, Jeff (Sue Ritter) Wauters, Dan (Jackie) Wauters, and Matt (Tina) Wauters; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Sr. in May of 2022; a son, Michael; a daughter, Lisa; her parents and a sister, Janet.
Friends may call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 650 S. Irwin Street, from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. Thursday, December 7th. Deacon Paul Umentum will lead a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
