Cuyahoga Falls- Charles Brown, 72 of 2442 Talbot St. died Wednesday in City Hospital after an illness of three years. A native of Marietta, O., he lived in Cuyahoga Falls more than 50 years. Mr. Brown was a retired cement block mason. During World War II he worked at the Falls Screw Co. He was a member of the Falls Pentecostal Church and the Ralph Huff Post VFW Dads. He leaves his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Knox of Windham and Mrs. Lucille Hostler of Kent; three sons, John E. of Cuyahoga Falls, Willard of Stow and Ronald of Akron; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Burton of Cuyahoga Falls; a brother, Harry Brown of Akron; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the McGowan-Reid Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony Calvanico officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and from 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
