Frederick Joseph Warnaca was born February 8, 1824 in Groszwoods, Germany. He married Mary Elizabeth Lieverenz who was born February 3, 1833 in Lenson, Germany.

They brought some furniture and personal belongings from overseas and settled in the Sycamore, Illinois area. They later moved to a farm in the Massena area. They were the parents of six children: Jennie, Emma, August, Louis, and twins, Alfred and Albert.

In later years Frederick and Mary shared the family farm house with their son, Albert, and his wife Mary Jane (Gordon) Warnaca. Frederick and Mary lived in the north half; Albert and Mary lived in the south half; and they shared the upstairs.

Frederick died June 28, 1905 and Mary died June 25, 1910.
