Services for Mrs. Estelle McDowell Harris, age 91, of Lindale are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Friday in the Damascus Baptist Church with Reverends Kelly Moseley & Charles Fischer officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. Harris died Wednesday morning in a Tyler hospital. She was born August 3, 1912 in the Damazcus Community near Lindale to Henry Tolbert & Bertha Anice Curry McDowell and lived a short time in Chapel Hill before moving back to Lindale in 1985. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church and was retired from Sledges Manufacturing and the U.T. Health Science Center. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jarrell Harris, a Sister, Pauline Betts, and a Brother, Whan McDowell.

Serving as pallbearers will be Perry Mac Hutchens, Jeff Hutchens, Jon Hutchens, Glenn Betts, Johnny Paul Nunelee, and Richard Allen. Family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. to Service Time, Friday at the Damascus Baptist ChurchServices for Mrs. Estelle McDowell Harris, age 91, of Lindale are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. B. & Maud McDowell of Lindale and Mrs. Dell McDowell of Mesquite; Sister & Brother-in-law, Mrs. Florine & Kelly Moseley of Lindale; Niece, Mrs. Paula Kay Nunelee of Lindale; Nephews, Perry Mac Hutchens of Lindale & Glenn Betts of Lake Jackson; Great Nieces, Angela Gerthe of Tulsa, OK, Jessica Hutchens of Lindale, and Heather Lott of Lake Jackson; and Great Nephews, Charlie Betts of Lake Jackson, Jeff Hutchens of Austin, and Jon Hutchens of Lindale.
