Lenard Luther Cain passed away at Unity Advanced Care Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the age of 90 years.

Lenard and his beloved wife, Vara (Scott) Cain were married September 17, 1955, in Jasmine, Arkansas. They have made their home in the Jasmine/Griffithville farming community for the past 67 years. Raising their family: a son, Mitchel Cain, daughter, Charie (Tommy) Richards, both of Griffithville and three grandchildren: Brandon Cain, Aaron Cain and Kevin Richards.

Lenard was a timberman early in the marriage, after a few years he turned to farming. His crops included cotton, in the beginning, later adding rice, soybeans and milo. He loved spending his spare time hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Leonard and his family are well known and loved by the community.

Lenard is preceded in death by his parents, David Cain and Letha (Hutchins) Cain, two brothers: Walter Cain and David Cain, three sisters: Catherine Foshee, Martha Bogan and Frances Peterson.
