Lou Ann Goodremote, age 81, a resident of Frederic passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022.
Lou Ann was born on April 19, 1941, in Grantsburg to parents Conrad and Jennie (James) Johnson.
Lou Ann married the love of her life, Adolph Goodremote on Sept. 1, 1966, in Siren.
Throughout Lou Ann's life she worked at Burnett Medical Center in Grantsburg and ASPS in Siren as a housekeeper. Then later in life she worked for DJock Logging doing logging and pulping during the winter months.
Lou Ann enjoyed being in the outdoors and helping her husband working in the woods and white washing which the traveled to do. Every year she always had a huge, beautiful garden she loved to take care of and enjoyed watching everything grow. She was very proud of her garden. Lou Ann loved music, preforming and playing the harmonica. She also enjoyed going to the music theater in Sandstone, Minn. Lou Ann was also a lifetime member of the Calvary Covenant Church in Alpha.
Lou Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband, Adolph; parents, Conrad and Jennie; sisters, Norma Johnson and Vermone Rosburg; brother, Wesley Johnson; and brother-in-law, Dennis Wagenius.
She will be greatly missed by many friends, and nephew and nieces.
The family would like to give a special thank you the staff at the Frederic Nursing and Rehab for the amazing care of Lou Ann.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Karlsborg Cemetery in Webster.
Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
