He graduated from Garnett High School. He was also a member of Aaron Chapel United Methodist Church where he used his gift he loved; as an Organist/Pianist. He loved church.
He was an oystermen, loved crabbing, fishing, and sometimes he loved to sit back and watch a good western. He made friends and was well loved. He was always smiling and entertaining. He was always giving a helping hand when needed.
Otto was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jacob & Iola Johnson, his sister Helen Johnson and brother David Albert Johnson.
He leaves to mourn his loss and cherish so many precious memories his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Sarah B Johnson. Otto was a loving father to Valerie Cole, Regina Johnson-Levroney, Darlene (Joseph) Wilson Anthony (Barbara) Johnson, Niya Johnson, Stewart Johnson Jr, and Michelle (Charles) Crouch, Carletta (Maurice) Harrison, and Mary Shuron. He also leaves behind three sisters, Charlotte Johnson, Rosemarie Smith, and Bessie Beck; three brothers, Allen Johnson, Ellsworth and Douglass Johnson; three sisters-in-law; sixteen grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
