Leo W Jerome 75 of 1 Cahokia died Sunday May 13 at Centreville Hospital He was a retired assistant Postmaster East St Louis He was a member of First Grand Knight 4596 K of C Cahokia First Faithful Navigator Fourth Degree Cahokia Council Serra Club St Clair County Men Club St Catherine's Laboure Church Laguiannee Singers Past Board Member School District 187 Past President Postal Clerks Organization of Rural Mail Carriers Volunteer Teachers Aid of Maplewood School Cahokia Past Volunteer Driver of Cancer Society and Association of Retired Per sons He was preceded in death by his first wife the former Mathilda Kohler a sister Mrs Edward (Esther) Sparn a grandchild Stephen Lee Wiget and his parents He is survived by his second wife the former Margaret Bagwell Crain a son Rev Albert Jerome of Cahokia two daughters Belly McDonnell nf SI Louis and Mrs Mary Luu Wigel of Belleville two step-daughters Mrs Terrance (Patricia) Barber of Metamora Mich and Mrs Margie K McGlynn of Phoenix two brothers Camille Jerome of Cahokia and Oscar Jerome of Belleville and eight grandchildren Funeral services will be at 9:45 am Wednesday May 16 al the Braun Funeral Home in Cahokia A mane will be said at 10 am Wednesday at SI Catherine Catholic Church Interment will be In Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville Friends may call from 3 pm to I p m Tuesday May IS at the funeral home The rosary will be recited at 7 p m Tuesday with a chalice aervice following at 7:30 pm at the funeral home Memorials may be made to St John Children's Home Belleville.
