She was born November 28, 1922 in Norge, OK, to Marion and Emily Brantley. She was retired from the U. S. Postal Service and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence R. Alsup; three brothers and a sister. Survivors include a daughter Ellen L. Alsup; a son Steven D. Alsup; two step-sons, Maynard D. Alsup and Wilburn G. Alsup; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; four step-grandchildren; two sisters, Naomi Simpson and Fern Foster; one brother, Richard Brantley, and many loved ones. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001, at the South Colonial Chapel. Committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001 at Hinton Cemetery in Hinton, OK.
