Cecil Emory Dye, 81, of Salisbury, died Tuesday March 12, 2002 at Rowan Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.
Born April 19, 1920, in Charleston, W.Va., Mr Dye was a member of St. Albans Church of the Nazarene, St. Albans, W.Va., and the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by a son, Cecil Lee Dye.
Survivors include his wife Marie Facemyer Dye, whom he married April 25, 1943; son Charles V. Dye, Colorado Springs, W.Va.; daughter Cecilia Rogers, Salisbury; brother Norvell Dye, Charleston, W.Va.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.
Services: 3 p.m., today at Lyerly Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Chris O'Guin, pastor of Community Baptist Church. Entombment in Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum, St. Albans, W.Va.
