---Ima Fern Tate, age 96, of LaPlata, Missouri passed away Friday (February 1, 1991) in Kirksville Osteopathic Medical Center.
---Born April 24, 1894 in Albia, Iowa, she was the daughter of Oliver Ashley and Sarah Catherine Abernathy Warren. She was married to John Edward Cunningham, who preceded her in death. She later married Lafe Tate, who also preceded her in death.
---Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Roy Cunningham; and one daughter, Geraldine Cunningham.
---Surviving are one daughter, Juanita Kinion of Macon, Missouri; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren, all of whom thought Mrs. Tate was a super Mom and Grandmom.
---Mrs. Tate had lived most of her life in Adair and Macon counties where she was a member of the Methodist Church.
---Funeral services were held Sunday (February 3, 1991) at the Travis-Noe Funeral Chapel in LaPlata, with the Rev. Rich Meyerpeter officiating. Music was provided by Sarah Meyerpeter. Burial was in LaPlate Cemetery.
---Pallbearers were Ted Shelmadine, Allen March, Mike Weber, Harold Cross and Billy Kinion.
