Paul Edward Allen, age 66 of Ekron, KY passed away at Norton Brownsboro on Saturday, November 11, 2023, just a day short of his 67th birthday.

Paul was born on November 12, 1956 to the late Carl Edward Allen and Bertie Mcdonald Elder Allen. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Garry Wine.

He was the proud owner of Freebies Junk Yard, being a 'jack of all trades' he enjoyed farming and tinkering with anything. He enjoyed working at Derby Tank Car and working with his sister at Triangle Auto parts in Brandenburg. In his younger days, Paul was the life of the party. He survived growing up with 3 sisters and was quite proud of them. As he got older, he enjoyed spending time at his place in Stephensport and watching whatever was floating down the river.

Paul is survived by his son, Cederick Mercer; sisters, Vada (Steve) Wardrip of Brandenburg, Marlene Wine of Ekron, Carla (James) Laslie of Ekron; nieces and nephews, Donnie Wardrip, Amy (Stacy) Jupin, Joey (Jasmine) Wardrip, Aurora (Jon) Darby; four great nieces and nephews; a special great nephew Case Jupin; fiancé, Teresa Livers and her children, Diane (Rudy) Richter, Amanda (Chris) Chesser, and Veronica (Travis) Ingram; and Teresa's grand children who lovingly referred to him as "Grand Paul"

Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Saturday November 18, 2023, from 3-8:00 P.M. and Sunday, November 19, 2023 after 10:00 A.M.
