Lome was the daughter of James William Peter and Martha "Maggie" Catherine (Brill) Brown. She married Charles Eugene Stephens 10/24/1909 in Edinburg, Shenandoah Co., VA. My grandmother would say that her mom could create the same dress she saw in a Sears and Rebuck catelog just by looking at the picture. She was an excellent seamstress.
