William Earl Chrysler and his second wife Dolores Marie Claar. Date of birth for Bill Chrysler per birth certificate and all known records is actually 1913 and not 1910 as shown on the headstone. Story says he lied about his age in order to enlist in the military. His first marriage was to Alta Marie Flook in Florida in 1936.

William E. "Ringo" Chrysler, 86, of Canon City died Oct. 10, 1997. He was born Oct. 25, 1910, in Flint, Mich., to William H. and Hazel D. Chrysler. Mr. Chrysler, a veteran, had been self-employed. Moving to Colorado from Apopka, Fla. in the late 1940s, while stationed at Camp Carson, he decided to stay and live in this area after his discharge. He worked as a self-employed entrepreneur and enjoyed the outdoors, both in his work and his recreation. March 31, 1944, in Raton, N.M., he married Dolores Marie Claar. She preceded him in death in 1975. Mr. Chrysler is survived by children: William R. (Marion) Chrysler of Meeker, Shirley A (Clarence) Belllew of Canon City, Virginia L. (Greg) Wellington of Canon City, James D. Chrysler of Canon City, Daniel J. (Desiree') of Coal Creek, Deborah K. (Buddy) Duncan of Helper, Utah, and Connie S. (Shane) Dodge of Canon City; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cremation by Wilson-Andrews Crematory with private family services. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to Friends of Hospice, Fremont County through the Wilson-Andrews office.
