HOUTZDALE - Paul C. Paulson, 75, of West Houtzdale, died at 12:45 a.m. today in the Philipsburg State General Hospital. A son of John and Britta (Dahlin) Paulson, he was born at Houtzdale June , 1894. He was a retired coal miner and a life-long resident of the area. He was a life-long member of the Bethel Lutheran Church and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He is survived by his wife, the former Henrietta Archibald, and by two sons: Dean, Hagerstown, Md., and Fritz, Jamestown, N. Y. Seven grandchildren also survive. One sister preceded him in death. Friends will be received in the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home from 4 p. m. today until 2 p. m. Wednesday when services will be conducted by the Rev. Walter Emswiler and the Rev. John Sargent. Interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery at Brisbin.
