A resident of the city for the last thirty-one (31) years, passed away at the home of her daughter, Caroline (Joseph) Ackerman, 24 Beekman Avenue, Mt. Vernon, New York after an illness of seven (7) months with heart disease. The daughter of Mrs. P. Pollak or Pollack. Elizabeth came to the USA at the age of 22 and married two years later to Julius Rosenthal. She came to Yonkers thirty-two (32) years ago and resided at 22 Loudoun Street. She was survived by her daughter, Caroline (Joseph) Ackerman and her son, Frank J. Rosenthal of 1749 Grand Concourse, the Bronx. Also two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Schurman of Mount Vernon, Mrs. Rose Worm of Asbury Park, New Jersey and a brother, Philip Pollak of New York City. She may actually be buried at Temple Israel Cemetery with her husband, Julius Rosenthal.
