Dona Reid Saathoff

Dona Reid Saathoff, age 73, passed away on June 9, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born on March 31, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Robert P. and Mae Watson Reid. Dona graduated from Cyprus High. Dona married Aaron Emmett Saathoff on Sept. 12, 1952.
Dona graduated from Holy Cross School of Nursing, in 1951 and followed her career in the Nursing field until her retirement in 1993. Dona was an active member of lris Court No. 47, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America; Chapter V, P.E.O. Sisterhood and a long time volunteer at Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Dona was also a Master Quilter, and enjoyed all types of needlework especially her Crocheted Tablecloths and famous knitted dishcloths.
Dona also enjoyed our many trips to the family cabin on the East Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. She loved being with family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all.
Dona is survived by her husband Aaron; daughter Annette Gertz (Roger); grandsons Ben and Kyle; three sisters and five brothers.
She was preceded in death by son Paul; parents; one brother; one sister.
