Adelina Herrera Figueroa was born in Alamo, Texas on November 29, 1937 to Hipolito and Margarita Herrera, both deceased. Her surviving siblings include Angelina Garza, Adela Gomez and Manuel Luevano (Armando, Bonifacio, Berta, all deceased), all were raised on Margarita's Curve, Clewiston Florida.

She is survived by her loving husband, Agapito (Jose) Figueroa of 61 wonderful loving years. She is also survived by her children, whom she adored, Nora Ale, husband Kevin Ale, Velma Espinoza, husband Izzy Espinoza, Noel Figueroa, wife Karen Figueora and Margarita Lopez, husband Juan Lopez.

She also has 10 grandchildren whom she loved with all of her heart. Viviana Alvarez and husband Jose Alvarez, Isidoro Espinoza Jr. , Jessica Figueroa Pompa and husband Armando Pompa, Jose Espinoza, Natalie Ornelas Garcia and husband Tito Garcia, Krystle Figueroa and fiancé Chalo Becerra , Jacob Lopez, Alberto Ornelas Jr, Juan Lopez Jr and Noel D. Figueroa.
She has 17 great grandchildren: Adrian Espinoza, Jordan Pompa, LJ Alvarez, Adian Lopez, Dallas Alvarez, Jaxon Pompa, Amaru Lopez, JuJu Beccera, Mia Espinoza, Tre Ornelas, JD Lopez, Donnie Pompa, London Ornelas, Johnny Beccera, Arturo Garcia, Noriana Garcia, Adelina Lopez.
And she also has many nieces and nephews.

She lived in South Bay, Florida since 1966. She worked for the school board for many years including being the lunch lady as well as a foster grandparent. She always wanted to be near her grandchildren and continued to be a grandparent to many others in the community. She's been a member of Saint Philip Benizi church for many years. She was a stern woman, full of faith and always prayed for everyone she met. No one was a stranger to her.
She was full of love and laughter and never judged anyone for their choices, the good and the bad and always supported us through every part of our lives. She will be remembered for many reasons but mostly for her smile and her giggle when she knew she was in trouble.
She will also always be remembered as the lady with the red flower in her hair and she found enormous joy in knowing that people knew who she was everywhere she went. She loved them and they loved her back.
She will be greatly missed but we know that she is with her heavenly father and is rejoicing in the skies with her loved ones that have gone before her.
