He was born Nov. 9,1912, in Gad's Hill, Mo., son of the late Henry and Minnie(Wright)Diesel.
He was united in marriage to Nancy I.Lollar Nov.18,1948. She preceded him in death in 2006.
Mr. Diesel worked for many years supplying turnips, Peppers and tomatoes to major stores in St. Louis and Springfield. He was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by three sons, Harry, Marshall(Vicki)Diesel Jr.,Gladstone, Marion(Becky)Diesel, Bolivar, Mark (Shirley) Diesel,Piedmont; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Diesel.
The funeral was held March 20, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, with Rev. Jack Ruble officiating and Brother Jeffrey Dial delivering the eulogy.
Pallbearers were Ben Diesel, Paul Hovis, Nathan Diesel, Edward Lollar, Leo Dial, Brad Ketcherside and J.J. Costanzi. Burial was in Diesel-Moore Cemetery, Piedmont.
