Thomas William McCutcheon, 81, of Waycross died Thursday evening (November 9, 2023) at his residence after an extended illness.

Mr. McCutcheon was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania to the late Harry E. McCutcheon, Jr. and Lena Thursa McDermott McCutcheon ;; also preceded in death by three brothers, Harry McCutcheon, Richard McCutcheon and John McCutcheon.

He made Waycross his home for the past several years. He served his country faithfully in the United States Navy and retired from Ingersoll Rand as a machinist.

Left to carry on by his wife, Nellia Thrift McCutcheon of Waycross;
two sons,
Michael K. McCutcheon (Sharon),
Thomas McCutcheon, II (Nicole);
four grandchildren,
Zachary McCutcheon, Taylor McCutcheon, Elizabeth McCutcheon, Craig McCutcheon;
a brother, Donald McCutcheon;
numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date in Pennsylvania.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
