Mrs. Earhart was born in St. Joseph, and briefly lived in Rea and Maysville in Missouri. She lived in Savannah most of her life. She worked for Greg Buick-Pontiac-Cadillac Inc., St. Joseph. She earlier worked for the Andrew County Implement Co. and the Ingersoll Insurance Agency, both in Savannah.
Survivors include a daughter, Landra Earhart of the home; her mother and stepfather, Linda and Lewis Gann of St. Joseph; her father, Jack R. Courtney Sr., Gladstone; three half brothers, Scott Gann, St. Joseph, Bryan Courtney, Maryville, Mo., and Jack R. Courtney Jr., Springfield, Mo.; two half sisters, Shelly Gann, St. Joseph, and Patricia Courtney, Maryville; her maternal grandmother, Hazel Gay, Savannah; and steppaternal grandparents, Ted and Edna Gann, Easton, Mo.
