Jack N Akers, 65, of Durango, Colo (formerly of Paso Robles) died Jan 11, 1998 in Durango, Colo.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Jan 17, 11am at the Chapel of the Roses of Atascadero. Father Rick Bonjean will officiate.

Mr Akers was born Jan 13, 1932 in Paso Robles. He was a lifetime ressident an cowboy of the Central Coast. He retired and moved to Durango, Colo in 1989.

Mr Akers is survived by his wife Betty Feliz Akers of Durango, Colo; daughters: Jeaniene King and husband, Wesley, of Lockwood, Janelle Akers of Durango, Colo; sons: Warren Akers and his wife, Diane, of Arroyo Grande Wesley Akers and his wife, Tracy, of Durango, Colo, William Akers of Durango, Colo; sisters: Winola Hazard, Lodene Gracia, Gerry Stinchfield, all of Paso Robles; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
