Fred Avery, long a resident of Albion, died in the Norfolk State hospital the first of last week and the body was brought to Albion for burial in Rose Hill.
Services were held at the Smith Funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, with Wm. Cowger of Neligh officiating.
Mr. Avery had never married. He lived here with his mother for some years and with an aunt in Omaha prior to entering the Norfolk hospital.
