Mr. Tully was born May 17, 1903 at Bonaparte. He was employed for a number of years at the Fairfield Glove Co., in Bonaparte.
One October 9, 1922 at Fort Madison, he married Agnes Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Harold P. of Endwell, New York; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
His parents were Albert and Mamie Bennett Tully.
The body has been cremated. Private graveside services will be held later at the Bonaparte Cemetery.
A memorial is being established with the Bonaparte First Responders. Donations may be sent to the widow at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
The Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
