Alice M. Bell
Alice Margaret Bell, 93, formerly of 1435 Rice Ave., died at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday at the Columbia Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 9, 1890, in Lima, the daughter of John and Margaret O'Neill Stevens. She married Roy Bell, who died Feb. 20, 1962. Mrs. Bell was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Leo Bell and LeRoy Bell Jr., both of Cairo; two daughters, Mildred Painter and Mrs. Clyde (Bernice) Long, both of Lima; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Siferd Westwood Chapel, Rev. Denny Hardigan officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Parish wake service will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
