Bonnie Dunn May, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home. She was born in Pamlico County, North Carolina on July 13, 1935 to Hugh Bonner and Daisy Connor Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis May; brother, John Dunn and sisters, Margaret Horton, June Scott and Mary Bennett.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories for her children, Rex Andrews of Nashville, Denise Langley (Randy) of Red Oak and Kim Frazier (Cliff) of Nashville; grandchildren, Derek Andrews (Samantha), Jennifer Blickos (John), all of Nashville, Matthew Langley, Kate Langley, both of Red Oak, Laura Davis (Ben), AJ Andrews (Heidi), all of Nashville and Seth Frazier (Kaitlyn) of Sharpsburg and great-grandchildren, Nick Van Order, Brittany Van Order, Devin Perdue, Savannah Davis and Nathaniel, Ivy, and Isabella Andrews.

Bonnie was a dedicated employee at Peoples-Centura-RBC bank, retiring after thirty-five years. She was also a member of Corinth Baptist Church for a number of years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 11:00am at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
