Gary Lawrence Gillmore
August 20, 1940 – July 26, 2023

On Wednesday morning, July 26, 2023, Gary Lawrence Gillmore was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom he faithfully loved and served for 66 years. Gary is survived by his beloved brother Dan Gillmore and his loving children Mark (Joanna) Gillmore, Paul (Heidi) Gillmore, Timothy (Mary Ellen) Gillmore, and Melody (Jonathan) Roberts. Proud grandfather of Mark, Jr., Jonathan, Stephen, JoyAnna, Anna Faith, Daniel, Terrilaina, Hadessa, Linnea, Brandon, Baylee, Brady, Jordan, Corbin, Anderson, Caedmon, Creedon, David, Lydia, Matthew, Daniel, Bethany, Elisabeth, Samuel, and Benjamin. Also, the proud great grandfather of Elaina, Moriah, and Boston. Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elaine Joy, parents Walter Jewell and Mabel Gillmore, and brother Dave Gillmore. Gary was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Niles, MI. He traveled in evangelism for the last 49 years and served as a pastor for the previous 8 years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at the Mukwonago Baptist Church (1610 Honeywell Rd. Mukwonago, WI) from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM. His Victory Service will begin at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow at the Memorial Baptist Cemetery.
