Major League Baseball Player. He played Major League baseball for seven seasons, principally as a pitcher, from 1880 to 1888 with the Troy Trojans, Detroit Wolverines and Worcester Ruby Legs of the National League, and the Philadelphia Athletics, Columbus Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Alleghenys of the American Association League. On June 5, 1885, while playing for the Columbus Buckeyes, he pitched a 12-0 No-Hitter verses the Washington Nationals. It was the thirteenth No-Hit Baseball game in Major League history.
