Scott Brian Jones, a longtime resident of Milledgeville, GA., died November 5, 2023 at the age of 66 following a prolonged illness. Scott is survived by siblings Debra Fournier, Edward Jones, Gail Kearney, and ex-wife Julie Jones. He is predeceased by his son Dylan Jones and parents Jack and Doralee Jones, of Eatonton, GA.

Scott was born October 1, 1957 in Okinawa, Japan, and moved multiple times growing up in a military family. Scott settled into Milledgeville in 1986 when he married and started a family. Scott worked as an electrician for Crawford Electric when he retired. Anyone who knew Scott well will remember his industriousness and curiosity .

Scott's pride and joy was his son, Dylan. Dylan's handicap and special needs were always Scott's priority and met with loving devotion. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones; yet we are comforted knowing that he is once again with his beloved Dylan.

A private graveside service will be held for the family on November 12, 2023 at Heritage Memorial Park.
