She was preceded in death by her husband: Donnell Lee Almany.
She is survived by four sons: Tom Almany of Festus, David (Shawna) Amany of St. Charles, Jim (Tammie) Almany of Festus and Tim (Julie) Almany of Festus; four sisters: Doris (Dick) Laiben of Crystal City, Helen (Rolland) Roussin of Crystal City, Joan (Brad) Eisenbeis of Festus and Donna (Bob) Stahl of Crystal City; three brothers: Elmer (Rosalie) Dunker of Crystal City, Bob (Judy) Dunker of Washington and Earl Dunker of Denver; 13 grandchildren: Chelsea (Jason) Christian and Andrew (Amanda), Joe, Shana, Caitlin, Tyler, Caleb, Nathan, Bria, Zach, Haley, Ryan and Austin Almany; a daughter-in-law: Karen Almany of Festus; and a sister-in-law: Dorothy Dunker of St. Louis County.
She was preceded in death by a son: William "Bill" Almany; a sister: Laurine (the late Dale) Wilmoth; and a brother: Pete Dunker.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, immediately followed by funeral services officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial will be in the Almany-Madison-Howe Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
