It is with deep regret we announce the passing of a beloved family man, Edward 'Eddie' Hagan, who departed this world on October 31, 2023, he passed peacefully at home. Born on September 22, 1963, Edward navigated his life journey with grace and dignity, leaving behind cherished memories and an indelible legacy.

Eddie is survived by his pride and joy, his daughters Whitney Hagan and Kristie Bloss. He was predeceased by his mother, Helga Hagan (Reynolds) and father, Clifford Hagan, whose footsteps Eddie followed in by not only sustaining, but enhancing the success of his father's business. It is indeed a testament to Eddie's tenacity, entrepreneurial flair and uncompromising work ethic. Eddie has also joined his loving sisters, Cindy & Deanna Hagan in Heaven.

A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at 4:00 PM on November 11 2023, at Community of Christ Church 156 Main Street, Jonesport, ME. Friends, family, and well-wishers are welcome to pay their respects and reminisce about a man whose life embodied love, kindness, and generosity. There will be a benefit potluck in Eddie's honor as good food and company is something he was always grateful for. The family is accepting donations towards the funeral costs.

Eddie had a penchant for Bacardi Limon mixed with Ginger Ale, a reflection of his vibrant and spirited personality. He enjoyed walks, and it was in these simple pleasures that he found peace and solace. His favorite color, blue, was a mirror of his depth, stability, and wisdom.

Every vacation he took to Florida, where he went to visit his family, was a cherished and eagerly awaited event. His witty humor and endless charm made every gathering a joyous occasion. His infectious laugh and warm smile were enough to light up any room.

Eddie believed in treating others with the respect and kindness they deserved. He had an everlasting lesson to share: to love endlessly and never stop learning. This was a philosophy he embodied throughout his life, and it became a part of his legacy.

The birth of his daughter, Whitney, was among his greatest accomplishments. He also took immense pride and joy in his grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy for generations to come.

Everyone who knew Eddie will agree that his greatest legacy is his big heart and warm smile. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but the memories he created will continue to live on forever. His family loves and misses him in a way that words cannot express.

Rest in peace, Eddie. Your spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who loved you.
