Angelo Lawrence Holden, 90, Glen Burnie resident died on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 under the care of Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Angelo was born on Thursday, May 4, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland to Angelo Thomas and Sara (Lamitina) Holden.

Angelo served his country with Company M, 175th Infantry, and was honorably discharged in 1953. After his military career, he began working as an Engineer. He could fix/build anything with any type of material, wood or metal.

He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post 40, the Moose Lodge and the Italian Bocce Ball Club; which he loved. Angelo was also a duckpin bowler and never missed watching Jeopardy and /or the Wheel of Fortune. He also loved to watch the History Channel and the Discovery Channel, and maybe take a little nap while doing so.

Angelo enjoyed camping, antique automobiles and antiques in general. He was an avid chess player and taught ALL of his kids and grandkids that wanted to learn. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Angelo is preceded by his parents, Angelo Thomas and Sara (Lamitina) Holden; a daughter, Annette Cheryl Critzman and his siblings, Richard Holden, Bertha Foxwell, Lawrence Holden and Salvatore Holden (1/23/1944 to 7/11/2021).
