Marnie Jo Blanchard-Sherman, 54, of Burchard Street, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at home under the care of Jefferson County Hospice.

Marnie was born in Watertown on January 7, 1969, daughter of the late Johnathan Lionell Blanchard and Estelle Mae Franklin Blanchard.

Marnie Jo was a woman with a heart of gold. She was a sticker enthusiast and a true lover of all things child-like. She was an avid online shopper who loved a good bargain. She was never more excited about anything than to give a gift, be it to someone she loved or a total stranger. Christmas was her absolute favorite holiday and every year she looked forward to the annual family Christmas Eve party. She would start talking about planning it in July. She loved her pets beyond measure and always looked forward to her local favorites like a ham and cheese with extra mayo from Jreck Subs or the Jefferson County Fair. You could always count on Marnie to make you laugh with her quirky sense of humor and lovable idiosyncrasies.

Survivors include a sister; nieces and nephew; and her most favorite person and nephew, Michael; a brother-in-law; as well as her life-long companion Victor Pizzaro, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Johnathan and Estelle Blanchard.
