Connie married Theme (Tim) B. Schieving on June 4, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on March 23, 1953.
Connie worked at South Kearns Elementary School as a hot lunch lady for many years. She then worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Richard McKay until retiring in 1990.
Tim and Connie enjoyed traveling for 29 years in their fifth-wheel trailer with their RV club the Beehive Roamers.
Connie is survived by her children: Christina (John) Simmons, Dennis, Kathlene Hopkins, and Mark (Barbara), son in law Reinhard Franz, 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother Michael (Shirley) Saxey, sister Diane (Richard) Carling and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Theme (Tim), daughter Sharon Franz, her parents, and her sister Gloria (David) Lord.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT.
