Delores was born June 20, 1942 in Danville, Ohio. She was the 11th child of Clara R. (Bird) and John W. Butler. She attended Danville High School. She worked at the Giant Store in Ashland in the late 1960s, and retired in 2004 from Truax Printing after 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loudonville.
She loved her family, the Lord, feeding the birds, feeding stray critters, playing cards, and the "Cleveland Indians". Yes, they were always the "Indians". She devoted her life to the care and welfare of her son, Kevin.
Delores married Wesley G. Lint April 3, 1964.
Delores was always willing and ready to go for the ride. Wesley built a 34 ft pontoon boat from an old camper and barrels, he cut 2 cars in half, Datson and Subaru, keeping the better halves, and making one car. There was never a dull moment and the stories they could tell.
Delores' favorite holidays were Valentine's, Halloween, and Christmas. Through the years she made her children amazing Valentine's boxes and Halloween costumes from whatever was in the closet, many being prize winners. The Christmas decorations were endless.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Lint of Loudonville, and daughter, Karen (Bob) Keener of Loudonville. Two granddaughters: Brenda (Mark) La Goy of Ashland, Ariah Zellner of Crestline. 3 great grandchildren: Steven, Hannah, and Rebekah La Goy. 1 sister, Rosemary Thompson of Tucson, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wesley G. Lint (May 7, 2021), 5 brothers: Edward Butler, Carl Butler, Bert Butler, John Butler, and Ralph Butler. 4 sisters: Virginia Butler, Grace Jones, Cora Butler, and Alma Vanderbilt.
