Jasper Yeates, s/o John and Elizabeth (Sidbotham) Yeates, was married to Sarah (Burd) Yeates with whom he had 10 children, Mary, John, Jasper, Sarah, Elizabeth, Margaret, Edward, Catherine, Sarah and Edward Yeates. He served as a Captain sometime before 1823.

Yeates, Jasper: delegate to the State Convention which ratified the Constitution of the United States; judge of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania; Yeates School named for him; warden of St. James'.
