Mrs. Lydia Hanke, 55, town of Rietbrock, died at home last night at 8 o'clock after about 90 minutes' illness, following a stroke of paralysis. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at the family home and at 2 o'clock here at St. Paul's Evangelical church. The Rev. E. C. Grauer will officiate and burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery. The body is at the Gilles funeral home in Athens and will be taken to the family residence tomorrow afternoon.
Lydia Radandt was born May 10, 1888, in the town of Stettin and was married there August 16, 1906, to Emil Hanke. They lived on their present farm the past eight years. Surviving are the widower; a son, Marvin Hanke, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Fenhaus, Corona, S. D., Mrs. Fred Laskowski, 1016 S. Third avenue, and Mrs. Erwin Buntrock, 925 1-2 S. Fourth avenue; three brothers, Fred Radandt, 416 N. Sixth avenue, Emil Radandt, town of Stettin, and Reinhardt Radandt, town of Rib Falls, and one grandchild.
