Mrs. Addie A. Thacker, 82, of Chillicothe, died Sunday in the Dieber Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born on May 22, 1878, in Vinton County, she was the daughter of Abraham and Cassie Ann Anthony Scott.

On April 5, 1903, she married Harmon D. Thacker, who survives.

Additional survivors are a son, Harold Thacker, Manchester, N.H.; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Kern, Athens; Mrs. Helen Krug, Chillicothe; and Mrs. Anne Brydebell, St. Petersburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Dennewitz, Chillicothe; and a brother, C. P. Scott, Springfield.

She was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers.

She was a member of the First EUB Church and its King's Daughters Class.

Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the First EUB Church, with the Rev. Raymond Welch officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
