Born January 11, 1946 in Dixonville, she was the daughter of the late Horace L. Lowman Sr. and Estelle (Simpson) Lowman. Edna was the wife of the late Dewayne L. "Dutch" Boring Sr. whom she married July 24, 1965.
She graduated Purchase Line High School in 1963 and worked at Greensteel in Dixonville where she retired from in 1985.
Edna enjoyed quilting and taking care of her houseplants. She loved her two dogs and parakeet bird. Edna also raised chickens.
She is survived by her children: Dewayne "Charlie" Boring (Kelly); and Brenda Kellar (Donald) both of Cherry Tree. Edna will be missed by her grandchildren: Josh Moss and companion Kara St. Clair; and Steven Kellar. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren; and her brother: Alex Lowman of Indiana.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Dwight, Dennis, and Horace Lowman Jr; and sisters: Stella Baker; and Charlotte Blystone.
Service arrangements are private and handled through the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Clymer. Interment will be held at the Uniontown Cemetery at a later date.
