Dunkin was a beautiful orange Tabby male who wondered into our yard as a kitten and stayed with us many years. Dunkin truely lived by his own terms and disliked most cats, but loved our dog Ringo and they became inseparable buddies following each other everywhere, Dunkin laid next to Ringo during his illness they had such a close bond. Dunkin was very jealous of other cats who came to live with us. He never backed down a fight especially with male cats who came into his territory. Dunkin wanted to be the cat leader at all times. Dunkin had 3 kidney stone attacks and had to go to a emergency vet once during late night hours. We changed his food to only wet canned natural foods and special supplements Dunkin improved alot. In Dunkins last years a younger male cat named Bobby showed up and horrible fighting began between them. Over time they seemed to settle their differences over the land territory and females and became friends. However Dunkin never lost his fighting rebel spirit. One night Dunkin wondered out from our garage and disappeared. We saw a large coyote on our game camera shortly afterwords and believe Dunkin must have been its victim and later Bobby also disappeared. We placed a memorial stone in Dunkin's honor next to his buddy Ringo.. For the many happy memories he left us with. We love you and miss you Dunkin. We'll see you in heaven.
